Every business needs a good marketing strategy to survive – that’s no different for title and settlement agencies. But what worked yesterday isn’t likely to work today and, most likely, will be obsolete tomorrow.
As customers and business partners change the methods through which they send and receive information, companies also must alter their strategies.
Fidelity National Title Group Vice President Marianne Mathieu, along with Meridian Title Corp.’s Director of Strategic Media Initiatives Kathy Riland-Hinton, will discuss marketing strategies in a presentation June 8 at the 2017 National Settlement Services Summit (NS3) in San Antonio, Texas.
The session, “Power Up Your Marketing,” will review the most effective strategies for honing messages to lenders and Realtors, as well as targeted social media practices and attracting consumer business.
“Marketing your business is something that needs to be a constant. It’s always a relevant and important topic. It’s always beneficial to take refresher courses like this,” Mathieu said.
“It’s relevant to stay on top of the trends. Like every other industry, it’s changing fast. With technology, there are lots of new options and things to help you be a better marketer,” she added.
Mathieu said attendees can expect to walk away with at least 10 marketing ideas.
“The goal is to break it down so an agent can just pick one a week and start implementing it,” Mathieu said.
“Power Up Your Marketing” is one of a number of business-building educational seminars slated for NS3 this year. Florida Agency Network CEO Aaron Davis and The Wright Track Consulting Group President Greg Wright will discuss opening new doors to drive business, while another session titled “Tools for Title Agents” will discuss how agents can use technology to make their business more useful to Realtor partners.
Westcor Chief Operating Officer Scott Chandler and Ellie Mae Product Manager Kirk House will discuss strategies for a successful closing and post-closing process, while Grabas Institute Director Joe Grabas will provide five ways for title agents to improve their operational efficiency.
